Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
Bet-calling is clearly the best play here. You get all kinds of better hands to fold (or just call and let you see the river). And if you get pushed on, you clearly have odds to call.
You really think Villain likes the turn here with AT, or 67? |

Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
I like your logic but that would imply open shoving to maximize FE.
I think you're saying betting has some FE to fold out TPTK or weak 2pair and if we get raised, we're priced in to draw anywhere. So, if thats the case our bet is not for value to begin with and a semibluff. Therefore, does open shoving not achieve maximum FE since we're semibluffing and not hoping for worse hands to call with the bet/call line? [ QUOTE ] Bet-calling is clearly the best play here. Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
Shoving is a pretty terrible semi-bluff. You just risk more.
For example, he might decide to "slow-play" his 8 against your obvious overpair. So we get a river card for $33 instead of for $130. |

Re: 1/2 nl 6 max turn play
Why not just bet the turn when you pick up the draw?
