This all comes down to preflop - how otfen does he 3bet QQ+ from OOP? I would expect most villains to repop KK and AA from the SB, but you can never be sure...

If I'm on tilt I probably call. You dont have a great deal invested though, so a fold is viable. The main message here is that this is not a clear fold nor is it a clear call.

Fold, clearly.
If this were party or everest though, insta call.

This kind of advice is so horrible. Even at those sites, there are decent regulars. The guy who OP described is a decent player. Did you even read the post? And no, Party isnt as soft as it used to be.

@ OP, the way this hand played out could very well be a 7. He might wanted to get it in on the turn, but the 7 was a scare card, or so he thought. However, it could also be a 9, who doesnt want you to call with the other 9, or a T, wanting to scare you. I'd call here, since we only need to be good like ~35% (dont know exactly). If we get zeebowned, so be it. Just a cooler. Reload, moving on!

in my experience this is never a hand you beat
i fold

I agree. if this is a move its a gutsy one. i think he will show u at least KK here if not the 7. totally player dependant these plays some players u would snapcall and he would show Ace high but most try to make it look like a big overbet steal when really they have it.

IMO, PF I would have made it more then 4bb to go with jacks on the button, he could easily be playing a hand like 87s and flopped trips and turned the nuts, raise more preflop to eliminate suited connectors.....or so they "say"

You want them to call with a hand like 87s, because then you have them dominated, no? You do NOT want to vary your preflop bet sizes based on your PF hand value. Why? Because it is way too exploitable for the 'better' players.

As a standard rule, use 4BB + 1BB per limper.

Villan seems to be aware of zeebo -I think this is TT or A7/78s/QQAt clubs - pot isn't huge - you don't know where you stand and can't raise so I fold to the huge overbet.

I was in a similar situation recently although vs a looser villan and I foolishly called the river overbet. My mistake was not including QQ+ in his range which makes the correct move more to a fold.

Munkey, why are you including AT, TT+ here? Does villain really call 2 streets with Ace high? Wouldnt villain 3bet QQ+ ?
