Hero UTG with Jc Qc raises, HJ calls, BB calls.

Flop: 4d 4c 5d

Checks around.

Turn: Qc

Bet the flop.

Call this river, although folding isn't that bad in a live 3/6 game where the players are generally passive and straightforward.

I'd never fold in a 3/6 online game, but I'd rarely reraise.

Easy call. Live, I'd have difficulty putting the villain on any 4 that calls a pF raise from the HJ with no callers. Okay, maybe pp4 but with two on the board it's not likely.
FWIW, I'm not nuts about raising QJs UTG.

He seemed like the type of player that recently learned how to slowplay and doesn't understand the importance of betting with flush and straight draws out there.

[/ QUOTE ]
I think slowplaying is usually a pretty rank play regardless of obvious draw/s on the board. But yeah, I think it is super-rank with them.

Agreed. On a paired board TTP is asking for trouble rr'ing here the way the hand was played.

Really? Some people CC 3 bets with Ace/anything. Also raising that hand UTG is not a typical play for me, just hadn't seen a hand in a while and thought I'd play it differently.
