It may or may not be cheaper, but from what I've seen, it should at least be easier to get a loan through Prosper than through your bank. It seems that there are a number of lenders on Prosper that have very low standards for lending. I say this because I've seen loans fully funded that I never would have expected to get a dime.

If all else fails, try to get a no documents loan. Basically they use your credit score to justify the loan. So if your credit score is in the 720 range you prob can get it. If not, then get a job ASAP [/ QUOTE ] I just found out that my credit is indeed in the 720 range - I'm going to google a no documents loan now, but any additional info/insight you or anyone has on this would be much appreciated. Also, thanks to whomever recommended Propser; am going to try that as well. Thanks so much to everyone who has replied/is replying |

oh it's definitely time to get a job - I just...don't know what to do; I'm worried I'm not going to be able to pay my bills in the interim this is distressing - I thought it was possible to get a loan just on virtue of not having bad credit? Also, what if it was more in the neighborhood of 2,000 ? [/ QUOTE ] If you have good credit, you should be able to get it funded at prosper.com. Basically loan network where other people loan you the money (as opposed to banks, etc...) if you haven't heard of them before. |
