Kinder trip report. Poker, rock stars, and stuff + I suck at poker

Awesome trip report! As an 80's hair metal hanger-on this story is right up my alley.

I've been following all the threads lately about the Cajun country poker with a great deal of interest. I'm hoping to take a vacation down there this fall. I have a funny feeling that I won't want to come back home.

I have no doubt the action, food and hospitality will rule. However, I am kinda curious about something far more important; how are the girls down there?

Where are you now? If you're from Sweaterland (the upper Midwest or Northeast) you're in for a treat. If you're from from Cali or Vegas, not so much. If you're from TX or the rest of the Southeast, same body different hair color. If you like Amazons, Louisiana is not for you. Don't expect to see to many girls over 5'5".

Lotta hotties here but it's kinda [censored] up. Pretty conservative and the girls tend to marry young. And because it is so conservative, divorce milfs are few and far between. Probably one of the worst areas of the country for a single 30 something.

People here in general are not as welcoming as the south. Most folks that live here are from here, and therefore stick to their own crew. Head east of here for a couple of hours and you'll find an entirely different breed of girl.

I read about what a-holes people in Vegas and NYC supposedly are and I [censored] you not when I say I find the crowd in said cities to be much friendlier than Grand Rapids.

The action is unreal. Bar none, even the worst of the worst in Vegas and Cali, Cypess Bayou Casino has THE WORST poker players on the planet. The reason nobody has heard of it outside this area, is that its 45 minutes south of Lafayette, or 1 1/2 hours north of New Orleans. In other words, BFE.

They spread 3-6-12 limit and 5/5 NL. You won't find better fish anywhere. You're trip will be paid for by the second day.

The food? What can I say that hasn't been written about a thousand times.

The girls? The ones that don't eat all the food are HOT. But like someelse said, you better be into short, olive-skin women.

I posted some years ago. I've got alot of stories about the WWF in the 80's. Friend of mine said I should write a book. Meh, not my thing.
