Mostly this donkbet is JT or an underpair in my experience. If the stacks are reasonably deep I almost always raise it up and usually they will fold.

I think hands like A9 or T9 are more likely to check-call or check-raise.

I've often seen pocket 22-88 here. That's why I play wa/wb and calldown.. sometimes even on drawy boards, because they're obviously just drawing to 2 set outs. But it's read-dependent. Calldowns are tough anyways...

why would you want to raise if you know they're going to fold a worse hand with few outs?

that is if you have a hand obviously... otherwise raise it up and fold those better pockets with your overcards.

Overcard draw like JT, a 9 and small pocket pairs make up a huge chunk of a bad player's range. Better players do this with air or a Q. I usually raise the first time someone donk bets. Then I make a note about what he does and what he played.
