I don't think this is WA/WB. K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]x has 8 outs, and if Hero is behind a made lower flush than he has 7 outs.
I would never check behind in this situation. Hero is in a situation where he is likely to make alot of money off hands that are way behind. Hands like AxJ [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] and lower. This is a good flop for you, I don't understand why you wouldn't bet it. FWIW, having 22 on a K72 board is a WA/WB situation, but you still bet to build the pot and hopefully stack a K.

A villain that sees 43% of hands preflop is not a very tricky player. He had the best hand this time but I think he'd do this with AxJs and worse as well.
