The 6.50s are a mix of a couple grinders and a ton of fish. You get to know the guys to avoid

It isn't that the grinders or whatever have gotten better. There are a few more bad grinders, a few more solid grinders, but the main thing is that the average fish just isn't donking off like he used to.

I've only just started at SNG's but am of the impression that things have improved significantly since "the good old days".

The shadow's excellent "STT favourite threads" has links to Aleo + benfranklin’s "how to beat the party $11's" which are a solid grounding but tight and a little uncreative for todays game IMO.

I'm only just leaning the subtleties of ICM and trying to incorporate it, but think that push/fold is now widely adopted at lower stack/blind ratios, even at the lowest BI's. This doesn't seem to have been the case in the past but may be wrong.

STT's have a pretty strong Darwinian character and Frist did away with a huge part of the foodchain. Still lots of food in europe though!
