Posting Other People's Pictures On 2p2 - How Terrible Is It?

If the pics were on the internet already then I see no probs, if you took them from a private collection and posted them then that might be a little wierd.

I'd be more worried that your friend is snooping your 2+2 posts.. He's probably reading this now lol

I think it's extremely sketchy and a horrible idea.

First of all, it just seems good manners to ask someone for permission before passing their photos around. I mean this isn't your living room where only a few of your close friends are hanging out drinking and having a good yuck over a couple of your friend's pics. This is a huge public board with immature people who are bored out of their mind.

Second, this is a huge public board! What were you thinking! Anything can happen. People like to be mean and capricious. I don't know why. People are pretty nutty. I feel you have to have some responsibility when it comes to posting pics of complete strangers not to mention your friends.

Finally, I don't understand all you guys and your obsession with pics. I'm the complete opposite. I only want an exchange of ideas or comedy or the occasional help-related thread. I hate all these pics of 2+2ers and their girlfriends/boyfriends, enemies, roommates. What is this, high school? Why the heck do we care what everyone looks like? I don't. I'd rather use my imagination. It's one of the things I dislike most about forums, the pictures of people.

I don't think that this is too big a part of it, as that rarely happens. 95% of the people who read the OP's original thread probably haven't seen this thread and are unaware of what happened.

If a guy talks about how his 10th grade English teacher was super hot and then when he was 19 he went back and banged her on her desk, I want to see a picture of her.

You really want to see a picture of her? Why? I would have fun visualizing it, making up my own story of what the two looked like. But I would definitely not want to know what the teacher looked like.
