Do aggressive Villains really make heroic calls against weak-tighties?

I hate this. He can easily have a J here, and he's always folding anything worse, especially since your bet size looks like you're trying to take him to value town. The fact that you have a weak tight image, and he's a solid regular makes this all the more terrible.

He has a jack here like never, cmon. Also, folding anything worse? I have seen people make pretty awful "AH F IT" calls in the past.

My betsize was to get thin value, or to get him to raise (I was snapcalling any raise)

I'm not saying you never ever ever get called by a worse hand, just usually not. And I don't see how you can say he can never have a J here, except for maybe preflop, but if we're going by preflop he probably shouldn't have underpairs either. My point about the river bet sizing is that the only way you're getting called here is if he puts you on a bluff, and 1/2 pot doesn't look very bluffy.

I like it a lot. Villian looks like he will try to pick off a bluff on this board.

Idk, I liked this hand a lot, and he pretty quickly called with 55 or 67 or something.

I usually bet 3/4 here, but it has generated a lot of missed value from situations exactly like this, just trying something different
