Yeah, school is for suckers. Go fo-cult.

He's named after a person, for crying out loud. An awful philosopher, but still a pretty known one.

You know Foucault is like the only leftist in the last one hundred years who was pro-Israel, right?

[/ QUOTE ]

Too late to edit, but obviously no one was pro-Israel 100 years ago :-(

I took a sociology class last year and we talked a bit about Focault. I actually thought of your soon as she pronounced his name: a sign I spend too much time on here.

I hate 2+2 association disorder.

In something like a lecture I wouldn't mind it, I'd probably be surfing 2+2 in sociology class anyway if I was unlucky enough to have one. But when someone uses an avatar from a good movie/tv show and then I irrevocably associate the two it bugs me - like I used to think Groundskeeper Willy was hilarious, now I just think 'Steve is awesome, he should play more 10ks'.

Am I the only 2+2er who browses with avatars turned off?

I've always assumed your screenname was inspired by: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Focault_pendulum

But I've also always thought of your name as Fo-Calt.

I suppose I'm halfway correct.
