This is fantastic when the turn comes a red jack and you get those same folds.

The reason to raise preflop is a few of those dominating hands that isolated you should / may fold preflop if you raise. It's not a great reason but it has some merit.

Well played

The reason they folded the turn is because they had nothing or close to it. You got the money in on the flop with an equity advantage. A small stakes player calls the first bet with a backdoor draw or ace-high, pocket pair, etc and calls the second bet because they're already in for one. This is why we usually play fast on the flop in small stakes; the money is virtually guaranteed there.

You know when you bet a no action flop like 9-4-4r holding aces or AK or 74o and everyone calls, then you bet the turn and everyone folds. You're not sorry you bet the flop are you?

Nice hand. Consider raising preflop, but nice hand.

3-bet or instead of limping? I don't really like the raise instead of a limp, but a 3-bet seems kind of fun.

Instead of a limp. Limp-reraising here would be pretty bad.

My bad, misunderstood the post
Yes, raising first in is a good option.
3-bet is horrendously bad.

Or they just peeled the flop with nothing and were folding the turn anyway.

NH move on

Good.

Just like everyone else I'd raise pf, most of the time.

The only thing that cost you any $ was that the spade fell on the turn rather than the river. nh

Looks fine the way you played it to me. I change nothing at all.

But it would be fun! Seems like kind of a weak hand to raise with in EP.

Now, what kills me is that I got 2 folders when I led the turn, despite the fact that I'm pretty sure neither CO nor MP2 had me on a flush draw, neither are familiar with the concept of raising on a flush draw for value.

[/ QUOTE ]

Even if they don't think you flopped a flush draw, they still have to worry that you are betting them into someone who has the flush. The CO and button both called MP2's initial bet the first time around then called your raise. Those look like some potential draw-y hands there.
