Why do you guys keep going to these underground illegal clubs? If it's against the law in ANY way, then why go and play there.

I jaywalk. And sometimes when I'm jogging I spit in the gutter or on dirt around trees. I have also been known to drive faster than 30 mph within city limits.

Just drive to AC or whatever.

Drive to AC = 2 1/2 hours. whatever=Foxwoods = 2 1/2 hours.

You guys are going to keep getting busted over and over. Eventually, one of you is going to get shot and killed.

I have been mugged 3 times in NYC. Once on the subway. Once walking from school to the subway. Once in Central Park. I have continued to use the subway and Central Park. Though I no longer go to school.

NYC will never have legal poker, at least not in TT's lifetime, I can almost asure you of that.

But I assume he won't be posting much more... might need to sell his computer and other worldly belonging so he can keep playing legal poker in Tunica.... Ya know, poker is a game of skill...

You condescending prick, you live 30 minutes from a casino and think that those of us who live in a state that is too chicken [censored] to alow poker should just drive 2.5 hours to get our daily fix. I'm not in NY, I'm in Houston (2.5 hours from Lake Chuck). There are a TON of rooms that are near me where I have to overcome a higher rake or I drive all the way to the nearest casino where I have to overcome the rake as well as the travel expense. I have joined the PPA and contacted local legilature in an effort to get legal poker in my state. Until that happens, I will continue to play in underground rooms whenever I don't have 5 hours to kill driving back and forth. BTW, the fine for players who get caught in an underground game (hasn't happened to me yet) is a whopping $180, not even a good night at a strip club. If I lived 30 minutes from a casino, I highly doubt that I would be playing underground either.

I'll be 40 in 2 years guys, so that means if I live to be 80 you will get poker in 42 years. Congrats!

But other than this very important revelation I think the OP is just trolling, lets lock this thread and call it a day.
