[ QUOTE ]
Well, I was considering making a move on said woman -- she is visiting this weekend and I probably won't see her for quite some time after that. I guess that would have generated some interesting discussion, too. She's been with the guy for 10 years or so and has never cheated on anyone, so I'm kind of wondering whether she would consider it that or not, because that could be an inhibiting factor, and I don't want to get involved if she thinks so since she knows I know she's like that and blah blah etc [/ QUOTE ] Technically it's not cheating if you only do anal. So if you want to have a clear conscience just stick it in her butt. |

wth? Make your move. If she balks just play it off like its no big deal. Stop overthinking.

My wife slept with another guy while we were living in the same house and married and tried to keep it a secret.
I slept with another woman while we were in the process of getting divorced, after I had moved into my own place. I made no effort to hide it from her. She cheated. I didn't. |

[/ QUOTE ] From the OP, it sounds like they are "legally" separated (despite living in the same home). They just aren't legally divorced. So "legally" she's in the clear as well. |

Put it this way, the guy in your scenario would be a fool not to have sex with whomever he wanted. When my own marriage broke up after being dead for a long time, I still didn't see anyone else while we were still living together. I really regret that. Even my own father was astonished by that when I told him and he's not exactly a player.

Exactly the same scenario at the end of my 2nd marriage. To the OP, morally obviously NO. Legally, tough question actually. I did a bit of family law, but am not overly knowledgeable it the area (thankfully) - I think you can say they are legally separated, even in the same house, assuming they each have their own room. |

If you talk to the husband beforehand, no.
Jesus, just get this woman an apartment somewhere. |
