when I go out for the main event, i'll also bring a copy of something showing the bounce fee and they'll probably give me yet another $10 food coupon, with which I will purchase four 6 oz. bottled waters. I will then walk over to the satellite area, uncap the bottles and pour all 24 oz. of water on Brandi's upper torso. Then I will be featured in NVG and my life will be complete.

The weird thing to me is that huge transactions like this go through the regular check system and can just bounce like that. It seems like it would be some kind of more secure certificate, and they would contact the issuer if there was a problem, etc.

I mean, if someone buys a corporation for $10 billion or something, do they just write a check?

guess i'm in the minority, but i don't think u have much of a beef. OK, so u cashed for a big score, congrats. they gave u a check that bounced; their bad, and looks like they apologized profusely to u and offered to cover the 'bounce fee' (as they very well should).

So what's left:
a) the inconvenience for you of having your acct frozen
b) missing interest on 10 days of a 269K balance.

meh, i'm not saying those aren't a PITA, but like another poster said, it might not be worth ur time to go after them when the best u might hope for is 1 free night at one of their hotels.

try writing a letter. i've ALWAYS had more success writing letters than complaining in person.

OP, a very similar thing happened to me after getting paid from event #3. I didn't understand the explanation they gave me (they might have said sequencing error), but they said it was a glitch that they had fixed after the first week or so of events (presumably after dozens of people ended up having the problems that you and I are having).

All in all, just another reason that Harrah's stinks.
