AC This Weekend - Player Asks to See My Hand Every Time I Muck

This was obviously someone used to online, where it's almost expected you'll see the hand.

The solution to this is to adapt and realize that, while the rule was intended for one thing, it's not what it means now. Don't let it bother you.

While this has become the normal process in low limit games (not sure why, most players at this level have no idea what to do with the information) it is allowed in most rooms.
Players need to start objecting to this. Let the room managers know this rule is being abused, you want it stopped and it will speed up the game.
When a player in the mid-limit games starts asking to see my hand I refuse till the floor is called. After on delay this tends to stop the crap.

better yet, in this instance, learn to throw cards like ferguson and stick your 72 into his jugular.

Or you could just show your cards at showdown and get on with the next hand - it's 1/2 NL fer chrissake, it's not like anyone there is going to file away your tendencies for future reference!

I couldn't believe they did not have this rule at Harrah's in North KC. I asked the dealer (Stephen) and he didn't even know what the IWTSTH rule was. So then I asked the next dealer, and he said they do not have the rule there. I forget but I don't even know if they allow the winner of the hand to ask to see the mucked cards, but I know for a fact they don't allow anyone else to ask. Very strange. Also, the casinos close there! lol Sorry, Tunica is much better. In fact, I think Tunica is better than AC and right behind Vegas [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

place them into the stack of cards that the dealer is holding, on into the muck pile depending on him big/messy the muck pile is. Don't TOSS them. Put them in there with your hands. Like 90% of the time someone asks to see my hand, they don't get to see it. Sometimes the dealer manages to protect the muck, and sometimes I just decide to show the guy. I rule.
