Barry,

In my experience, this is the nature of tournaments. It's literally as if I had written your post myself.

That said, I'm currently playing some cash, just to get my head back on straight.

You need to realise you're not as good as you think.

Your entire post dwells on all the bad beats you've received and all the good plays you've made, only to lose to those you perceive as inferior to yourself. If you're actually this smart and solid, then your results will show it and you don't need the advice offered here.

If you can admit you've made some mistakes and give your opponents more respect, you'll have room to improve your game and a better understanding of your weaknesses.
