this is a good spot to bet on the flop. If you get called, you might still win the pot.

Fine as played. you have Ad and 88 for the blockers so you are perfectly entitled to bet. i dont like check/folding it seems a little weak, and check/calling is even worse. it wouldnt suprise at these stakes if villan was making this move with a non nut flush draw but its irrelevant whether its 3 high or K high you still are beat if he hits
