Re: Chance of Tiger Woods on Steroids or HGH?
I forget if it was here, or in IRC, or somewhere else...But somebody suggested that Cal Ripken, Jr was a prime candidate for steroid use, and everyone responded with the same shock/anger/indignation/LOLOL R U SERIOUS?
It's very interesting how people can totally dismiss the thought that their favorite athletes who have never done anything else wrong could be on performance-enhancing drugs. |

Oh, I certainly believe Cal Ripken Jr. could have used performance-enhancing drugs. In fact, I would bet on it.

[ QUOTE ]
Everytime Tiger wins a tournament there should be a little asterik next to it imo. [/ QUOTE ] EVEN IF Tiger was on some kind of strength enhancing drug... if you follow or play golf the slightest bit, you should know that Tiger doesn't hit the longest shots, or the biggest drives. But that doesn't even matter, because he doesn't need to in golf. What I'm really saying is that even if he used them, there is much less of an impact in golf than in other sports, at least in my opinion. Not that it would make it any less serious of an issue, though. |

I guess the amount of testosterone circulating through your veins having no impact on your golf success is why women are just as good at golf as men ay?

Whenever I bring this up people refute it like nobodies business. Hello? Barry Bonds used to be skinny but now he's huge, so it's a fact he roided. Uh, Tiger? I guess because he's part Asian and part White people aren't as racist against him. Or because he smiles and can give an interview. But come on. Stand him next to Lance Armstrong. Who's on the performance enhancing drugs? [/ QUOTE ] I assume that they are but can anyone say for sure that PE drugs such as steroids, HGH etc are banned by the PGA? |

Re: Chance of Tiger Woods on Steroids or HGH?
0%.
As I say in thread after thread after thread, think about money. If he gets caught using a performance enhancer that is frowned upon, especially as a black athlete in a white sport, it would cost him literally tens, if not hundreds, of millions of dollars. |
