it was not prop bets, i listened to most of the final table while phil was still in, and all the bets were insurance when phil got it in as a favorite. if phil's AA lost to a 47o ivey would have owed him 90,000 [/ QUOTE ] Surely tournament dollars are worth less than real dollars, so I don't see this as being insurance unless Ivey got a big discount. |

Hellmuth was making pretty bad insurance bets at the taping of the new HSP. As great as he is at NLHE tournaments, he's that bad as a gambler.
