33 should definitely check here, because no one checks behind with a flush.

Probably, but guys who frequently use this line and are good enough to check turn are always afraid of losing value and just bet it when board pairs.

Solid != play well. I agree with you though.

If you check river here you get the river bet but OP folds to AI, by donking he gets a larger crying call?

What about when the other player doesn't have a flush but will bluff the river?

The only way to actually get a flush to pay off an all-in bet is to actually GO ALL IN.

I'll take a $50 bet + 25% chance that he calls my all in over a 100% chance that he calls $70.

Call. He has A7

[/ QUOTE ]

That makes sense cept PF. I think villain c/c turn being scared of the flush and is now leading on river with a boat.

[/ QUOTE ]

What doesn't make sense about preflop? You are saying villain is too smart to call with a suited ace preflop?

O RLY?

[/ QUOTE ]

A [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7x is the only one that makes sense here so villain calling PF with A7o doesn't make a lot of sense.

what's wrong w/ PF?

[/ QUOTE ]

You get called by KJ,QJ and AJ often as well as many other better hands and give an aggressive player the opportunity to squeeze if you get even one caller. It's just not a profitable play in the long run.

[/ QUOTE ]

This just is not true.

[/ QUOTE ]

If you are normally raising this, take a look at the all hands where you raise with JsTs UTG in poker tracker then tell me if it is not true. I would be very suprised if you show a profit over a significant size.
