what did you guys think of pf, btw? [/ QUOTE ] I can't imagine folding TT on the button vs. these two, and I also can't imagine calling 3 cold on the button ever. So yeah, cap city. |

Re: Standard Turn Decision
it's good to see someone at least consider a 3bet.
seems to me AK is as possible/likely as most any other holding. we have a bunch of outs versus AQ. 3betting can't be too bad. nevertheless, there is a factor at play here that is really only present in the live environment. when i said the table was similar to a "typical small stakes online game", i referred to the players skill-sets. all things being equal, live games are never as aggressive as online games. whether it's the interpersonal dynamics, the face to face interaction, or something else, raises and especially 3bets mean more in a live game. for that reason alone i lend more credence to the combined flop and turn action. so i called. UTG now 3bets and MP calls, i call. River(a bunch of bb's): J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG bets, MP calls, i raise, UTG 3bets, MP folds, i call. |

Re: Standard Turn Decision
Call turn.
The number of bets I'm willing to see showdown with depends on whether the turn gets 3 bet and who bets the river. Generally, 1 bet on the river though. |
