I didn't want a multiway huge pot, this is why I called preflop. [/ QUOTE ] You think you get more callers if you 3-bet pre? |

[/ QUOTE ] Don't get me wrong, I 3bet AQ almost ever, but in this case I choose to call. Is this a mistake? I have a good hand and position, but the fish is unpredictable and the initial raiser is not stealing. |

If MP really is a huge fish calling is +EV, but still I much rather prefer being the aggressor, taking down the pot preflop or UI on the flop when we both miss. EDIT: calling puts you in a spot postflop where you might very well fold the best hand on the flop, while raising means you can take down the pot right away or get a better but not great hand to fold on the flop. |

Re: AQ hand- tell me what is wrong
I would fold to the turn bet here. Would he do this TT/JJ ? Don't think so. Also...what is his standard raise ? Is it 3.5? is it 4? is it 5? Does he bet the same amount regardless of posessions ? Does he play SC a lot ?
