Also, I'd 3-bet flop like always. I hate the way you played this. The FD missed, and it doesn't look like he has a worse A since he checked turn. You only risk having a hand like 76 checking behind, but that type of hand is probably more likely to bluff/make a dumb VB than call a bet.

As played I call river pretty quick. I can't imagine losing to anything but AT.
A pretty standand line seems: call the flop minraise and lead turn and river. I don't see how the 6 changes anything given he raised utg pre, so if he raises the turn you probably have to go with it. I think leading the turn looks less strong than 4-betting the flop. His flop play really looks like AJ-ish so why not pound it a couple times on later streets? c/r turn may even be too strong here. |

I agree with the flop 3-bet. He has an A with a good kicker or a fd much more often than A5/set. Given how you played it easy call, I agree AT ought to be the only hands you're worried about.

3bet flop and the hand is done.
Given the turn action I would only be concerned about AT here and sometimes a slowplayed str8 if I know villain pulls a lot of moves. Apart from that, I f-in hate minraise preflop, and feel sick that nobody 3bet him. |
