Re: 150 bb deep in the buttton with aa nl 200
What hands would he play this way? JJ, QQ, KK, AA? Are 22 and 33 in his range? Doubt it...
You can't fold. |

Re: 150 bb deep in the buttton with aa nl 200
I'm not sure about the turn CR all in? It makes your hand look like JJ,and he can get away from everything(KK,QQ) AND you get stacked if he has JJ.
Hard to know what he's thinking given the way you played the hand? What about just calling turn bet and check raising all in on the river? You might induce a river bluff from a flush draw, and value bets from QQ,KK? Villain is much more likely to have KK or QQ than JJ so folding isn't an option as played. |

You have to C/R all in the turn.
wateronrock : If you call the turn there's less than a 1/2PSB left, so you can not check/raise ai river. And I'm not sure KK and QQ are value betting the river. Hero line looks very suspicious. |

Re: 150 bb deep in the buttton with aa nl 200
I guess with the pot being as big as it is you could C/C the turn and bet out in the river assuming no scare cards come? The only real advantage I see to CR on the turn is that you could price him out of a flush draw? Mind you if you I put him on a draw I would exchange that EV to induce a river bluff. Getting 3 to 1 on your money the only question is how to play the hand in such a way where you get the villain to also put all his chips in with a worse hand. I think CR all in on the turn is the one line that may allow villain to escape. |
