look, i hate your god damn team, it was hard enough to draft you even when it was about three or four rounds later than you should have been taken, because my league is full of fantasy noobs and red sox fans.

PLEASE STOP SUCKING WILD ASS IN NON SAVE SITUATIONS.

wtf joe torre: stop putting rivera in when he can't even help me and letting him give up a bunch of [censored] hits. jesus h christ [censored] 11 to 5 the fruitbat captain electrocuto [censored] vampire mother [censored] is 100 years old he doesn't need extra work, now he threw over 30 pitches and he can't [censored] get me a save in a one-run game tomorrow night

yankees don't have save situations. they either lose by 1 (see 1 run game record) or win in a blow out.

[/ QUOTE ]

Right now, that's true.

I probably would have said something different at the beginning of the season, but now I'll say you're kind of silly to place your entire RP hopes in a fantasy league on just Rivera. There are lots of grade-A closers out there. In fact, there should be 30 of them total. So what's the big deal? Search the wire.

[/ QUOTE ]

there aren't close to 30 grade a-closers, you have nathan, k-rod, and wagner as grade A, then you have another tier of guys who are good and have job security as the closer, then you have guys who aren't that good and who can lose the job if they have a couple bad outings in a row

As far as naming only 3 closers which fit under grade A, you're crazy.

Fair enough, though, I really meant to say job security, because in most situations, as long as you have a team's top reliever, you'll get your fair share of results from him. That's why I said 30. And of course, 30's an exaggeration. Recalling drafting for my 4 fantasy leagues 2+ months ago, I think there were about 10-13 RP's that I had written down that were essential locks to go with. Not grade A future HoF chuckers, but just guys you know will get their fair share of innings and opportunities.

All,

Let's not lose sight of the important stuff: this hurts NT!'s fantasy league standings.

EDIT: thread should probably be stickied.

You think that's bad? My team put up an eleven spot for errors this week. 11!! wtf is that [censored].

Average error category scores are like 2-1, 3-2, 2-2, etc... I'm down 0-11 right now lol

lollol

Anyone doing an extra league on Yahoo! for midseason? I had a 10-team draft today and River was picked at the 123th pick when at the beginning of the season he was picked between 60~70th.

BTW, is there a Sporting Event league? Maybe we should set one up for midseason just for kicks. Any interest for a 12-team roto 5x5 livedraft sometime tomorrow?
