As you have stated the credit card used was not your own...

Seems like if the credit card owner's name doesn't match the account holder's name, it should send up an obvious red flag.

The deposit should not have even been allowed in the first place.

I agree, this is the point I take the biggest issue with.

I was wondering why they would play in a legit manner, but the "run up or bust" hypothesis makes sense (like playing a sticky 1 casino bonus). Would explain why they lost it in only a session or two.

FYI I never play Bodog poker, only used it for betting. Played poker on it once or twice many months ago and haven't since.

Thanks for the support. We'll see what happens here. I just find it very hypocritical that any losses to the account stand, but any deposits to the account don't (when I don't think the credit card was charged back or anything). And if they're going to do all that, why do it for only $200? I can understand wanting to clear out my balance, but it just doesn't add up.

I'd feel a lot safer if you would take back a few posts - let's say get back down to 5 or so - preferably with a registration date of june07 - please - it would help me sleep better - TIA

its the same like I had with partypoker, they closed my account because i won too much money. and the accounts who lost the money were all made not by that person, some stolen cc was used.

you cant do [censored], its just [censored] up. you need to protect your password so well and play on higher stakes so they respect you more.

Guys on another forum think that some account info got leaked/stolen when Bodog absorbed some of the other sportsbooks. People observed similar things after other sportsbook mergers/bailouts.

I never logged on through any other computer besides my own (security confirmed this, the new logon was the first besides my 2 at home and 1 at school), and I keep my passwords protected, so that must be it.

I really feel sorry for you here. Bodog admits that your account has been hacked into and obvious chip dumping has occured and they are not willing to investigate futher.
Surely they have the name of the credit card holder aswell.

This is a disgrace!
