Wow, does she get short of breath while exercising now??
How does that effect her daily life now?

[/ QUOTE ]

Yes, it does make exercise more difficult. She's in the process of trying to adapt to it before determining whether or not to return for more surgery with no guarantee that the same thing won't happen again. It's certainly been a negative impact on her daily life as an active person, although not catastrophic.

if u wanna get scared, they sterilize the insturments for surgery and they tested them in the UK and the instruments they used to take out tonsils were all mad cow positive cause normal sterilization procudures don't destroy the prions or something.

otoh i think it takes 40+ years for it to normally cheesify your brain.

Sounds like everyone is different. I hear everything from "it just made my throat sore for a few days" to "it may not heal correctly and you could have problem breathing while exercising for the rest of your life"

O jeez. All I can do is wait and see what the doc says next week.

I dont want to give up hustling hard while playing basketball! It could also suck during the healing proccess.

Wish I would have had them out as a child. Gunna have to give Mom a hard time about that when i see her.
