Oliver - I'm seeing them in New Orleans on June 30th and am REALLY pumped.
I've been on kind of a Police kick for the past couple weeks in preparation for the big show.

soulshot - if you went to the authorities and said, "Hey, I gave somebody $1,000 in cash and he hasn't given it back" they would laugh in your face.
The same goes for giving him $1,000 online.

I'm seeing them at Fenway Park, but being a New Englander, i preferred The Cars to The Police, they just always got played more around here when I was growing up.

Its not theft... you gave him the money.

Did you have a contract? If so, then its breach of contract and you can sue in court, but still not a police matter.

Soulshot, I was scammed here before by someone named chicago, but fortunatelly I had some personal info on him and I contacted police, you actually have to do it at your police station and you have to have some proof, but they can help you as this is fraud, but if he contacts you and makes one payment it stops being a crime and becomes civil matter. So I did get a hold of chicago and after the police called him he made few payments so far. I am currently involved in a similar situation with others but I am in constant contact and am making payments.
