You missed my thing from last time.

The new time bank feature is awesome (I actually suggested it I think), but the implementation's no good. The flashing text is incredibly annoying and distracting, either when I'm multitabling and some guy has hit the time bank on one of my tables, or when I actually call for time and am trying to think while this annoying flashy thing keeps popping up. Likewise, it's annoying to find that little box that shows how much time you have left.

I've talked to a bunch of other people about this, and they all agree. Please change it somehow. The best thing I can think of is to make it just like the regular time bank (with like the colorful thing that gets smaller until you run out of time) except make it like tinted blue or something. A message in the chat box saying "xxx has requested extra time" should make it clear what's going on to new players, and to old players it will require only one glance to see what's going on (instead of the two now to see the TIME flashing thing and then to see the box with the time left) and it will be much much less annoying.

Thanks, Doug. You're awesome.

Doug,

How about some slower tournaments?

PokerStars has the Deep Stack tournaments which feature 30 minute blind levels.

Even Full Tilt's Double Stack tournaments only have 10 minute levels.

Doug: The prize reg page for Fantasy Poker is up and it's quite nice! And I see the freerolls follow the formats of the tourneys they represent, eg I got in on a fixed limit one and it's fixed limit! Nice! So for the NLHE ones I can opt out because I think they might be -EV and/or the MGR hit based on the payouts. Awesome.

Hey Doug

I play heads up LHE. The first hand of a table session never gets written to poker tracker. Any ideas?

FTPDoug sent me a long email summing up most of the anecdotal evidence against Beatme and the chain of alleged bots that they shut down. He did not show me any of the hard evidence from Support...just a summary of the case so far. One piece of evidence in particular that is not mentioned here is particularly damning. It definitely goes beyond MrGatorade's initial accusations (although they obviously played a role in bringing it to FTP's attention).

If I were a FTP representative, based on the information Doug told me I would confiscate the funds of everyone involved as well.
