Re: 100NL is TP good enough to call in this spot?
[ QUOTE ]
why did you lead the flop? [/ QUOTE ] I play semi-loose aggressive and always lead out if I hit top pair. Is this wrong? I'm not a big fan of check-raising but I employ it now and again to mix things up if I think a player is trying to steal the pot when we're HU. |

[ QUOTE ] Pre-flop raise sounds like the best play - in this instance Villian had 95o and would have probably folded. [/ QUOTE ] now this is results oriented thinking. [/ QUOTE ] Yeah sorry I mis-worded that maybe. I meant that in general the pre-flop raise was probably the best move, and in addition, this is what would have happened on this hand. I wasn't saying it was a good suggestion specifically because of the outcome of the hand. |

I'd much rather mix up my play here by CR with air on occasion than leading here. |

this is very transparent unless you are also leading into the pf raiser w/air, which is bad idea b/c you are usually behind on the flop [/ QUOTE ] But I also continuation bet a lot against a single opponent if I'm the pre-flop raiser. Does that help conceal anything? Or as a general rule should I let the pre-flop raiser control the hand most of the time, and lead out only occassionally to keep him on his toes? |

your cbetting frequency is unlikely to conceal anything you do when you have called a pf raise.

RR preflop 100%. Given the action I fold.

Re: 100NL is TP good enough to call in this spot?
Call or reraise preflop are both fine. Don't fold to the minraise. If you reraise it basically makes postflop easily. I wouldn't fold the K in that case but here against an unknown with your line I think you see a 9 often enough to make a call -EV.
