You guys are completely nuts. My OP here was simply a continuation of another thread regarding evaluating individuals recomendations in unique circumstances. When it first appeared I didn't have permission to divulge the names involved and some people were displeased with that.

Since your original thread on this topic wasn't in this forum, I'm guessing most people (like me) never read it and don't really know what the hell you're talking about. That alone makes it really hard to care who told you to buy what stock. The fact that you have appeared not to know much about investing while remaining pretty arrogant doesn't make it any more likely people will care about random threads they never saw.

His original post is what he wrote here. Incredibly vague, useless, and BBV material.

What I meant was his original post in his forum was basically what he told us here. The description of running into "this guy" in a casino and getting a tip as the guy left. He may of described the lighting or music that was playing in the background but the facts or substance was what he wrote in one sentence above.

He asked his forum would you invest based solely on this tip from someone you trust?

Worth noting that the thread was linked from here at the time as well.

Evan, stop being an idiot... and it might be worth your while to review past Sklansky investment posts.

Yes, you would be crazy not to buy it. People are crazy if they don't appreciate this thread. Anyone that doesn't realize why this stock should be bought doesn't think about the stock market properly IMO.

Is this serious? I don't see anything in this thread to appreciate or what it has to do with thinking about the stock market, properly or otherwise.
