You're drawing to the 3rd nut flush (most of the time; sometimes even better) and you have 2 donks donating liberally (as evidenced by their cold calls). Why would you not call in the hopes of hitting your rare monsters?

A suited broadway is enough for me to call in the BB with 3 others in the pot and closing the action. Flop is a toss up whether I bet or c/c. Turn is a fold with trips on the board.

:grunch:

With three people already in a raised pot I call all day for 1 SB, because odds are 8:1 that I flop (at least) two more cards of my suit. With 4 people in and 9 outs = 35% equity I will have an edge. Of course pot odds of 7:1 doesnt seem enough, but you can flop also two pair or trips.

On the turn the odds justify calling, and your Q-hi flush will make it, flush-over-flushes are like quads, they just don't exist.

edit: i haven't seen that a simple pocket pair or a T beats you, hmmmmm... think twice about to call

I think preflop is close, honestly. I lean fold since it's a UTG raiser, but 7:1 is enough to pique my interest at least. I'd seriously consider calling w/ almost any two suited cards that could also make a straight. One more caller and I call this, too.

I agree that PF is very close. At just a touch over 7:1, I call this much of the time, even w/ Q4s. Any connectivity at all would make it even easier.

After calling, the flop peel is super standard, but the turn is a super easy fold. Your flush outs are now no good and you are drawing to 3 Q outs hoping CO doesn't have a 3 (why would he) or TT (possible). Even if CO showed you he had JT, you are not getting the odds to call for a Q. Meh, even if he showed you 22, you still don't have the odds with 6 outs to a win.

Getting 7:1 preflop and closing the action, I'd be tempted to call. I think UTG has a pretty tight range, but CO sucks and there is a decent chance Button does as well.

I don't bet the flop and I don't call the turn.

Yes, indeed. You are dead to a Q and might still lose to (likely) QQ+ or the (unlikely) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I was carried away by the flush draw on the flop and didn't take a second look at the board.
