Sorry if I gave incomplete information. I've got a stack of player cards and can't ever remember paying for parking.

You might be getting free parking if you have one of the high rollers/fancier cards. I know at Borgata you get free parking with a Black Label card, but you have to gamble a lot to qualify (I got 10 points for a day of playing poker and you need 1000 in a year for free parking).

Not a problem. As with anything in Atlantic City, nothing stays the same for long. You can park and it cost $5. An hour later, it could be $20.
I think I may call up each one tonight and do a parking post. Of course, it will always change, but at least we will have some idea. |

Not near the boardwalk, but as for free parking, you might want to try the corner between New York Avenue and Kentucky Ave. I'm sorry but this needed to be said. [/ QUOTE ] I didn't have a Monopoly board at my disposal, otherwise I might've beaten you to it. But seriously - if your primary goal is to save $$$ - consider taking the Greyhound (or other chartered bus) to town. It's disgustingly cheap from outside the DC area, probably a similar deal near you. I can bus up there for something in the neighborhood of $35 ROUNDTRIP AND get $22 Cash back upon arrival. $6.50 each way... with gas prices what they are today? And all I gotta do is take a nap next to the scary guy? ... or... be that scary guy... Saving money? Bus it. Seriously worried about $5 in parking when you're about Gamb000l a few thousand inside the walls... reassess your situation. |

Do you have more info about the greyhound from DC? I checked it a few weeks ago and it was $45 roundtrip, and I don't remember seeing anything about a casino rebate.
That is still not really that expensive, but if I understand correctly you also don't have a guaranteed seat on any bus - I am worried if I went up there and went to catch the last bus out of town in the evening but it was already full I would be stuck. Rob |

I agree with you usaftrevor, why worry about $5 when your dropping larger dollars in the casino. You play anything above 1/2 and 1 big blind can pay for your parking.
I mainly play/stay at Trump Taj, so I do not mind parking for free at Showboat and walking it. However, if I was staying/playing at the Hilton, I would not walk 30 minutes away just to save $5.00. Take advantage of free parking when it works to your advanage (when it is close to where you are playing). If free parking is far awy from where you play, this of it this way - you can make more then $5 playing 1/2 in the 30 minutes it would take to walk from your free parking location. |

If you partied n played in the casino for 2 days (without checking into the hotel) would you be charged for each day you were parked? or is it just a 5 dollar flat fee at most of these places, regardless of how long your cars been parked?

To the best of my knowledge, all casinos charge a flat rate, regardless of length of stay. Be careful of parking in some non-casino lots. Many charge by the hour or by the day.

[/ QUOTE ] Flat five bucks either to enter or exit the garage (depends on which casino). Hasn't changed in the three or so years I've been heading there. I've stayed as long as a week and as little as a couple hours, same rate. |

Keep in mind, it is not always a $5 rate. Some casinos may charge more on the holidays/weekends. I remember staying at Caesars the Friday night before New Years. Leaving the parking garage Saturday morning, they were charging $15. Thank god I had a parking comp.
