Not sure I like it. I really think people do this w/ a hand, but u do have maybe one over and flush draw. Hell you could have a tad bit if FE too, so not tooo bad, but i still think he's calling and your behind here a lot.
(and none of that yeti theorem crap. That theory sux imo.)

yeti theorem states that if the pfr 3bets a ragged/paired flop then he is FOS. But a flush draw can't be present, so it doesn't apply here anyway.
and i don't agree w/ it

he will sometimes, a 23/17 OTB steall also includes 7s like 76, 78, 79, A7... not often but being against a 7 is like putting it all in vs. a set

i think it's pretty thin, and i think your psychology is a little off.... but obv. i could be wrong... are you gonna post results?

This is very not good. His 3-bet is a pure bluff almost never. The history just means you're going to get looked up more lightly, not that he's going to go on monkey tilt and 3-bet QTo here. You are +EV against just about nothing, and your FE is extremely extremely low in this situation.

Yah, people usually don't play back too much at this level, they just think 'f*ck you buddy, when I pick up a hand I'm guna rape you.'

This isn't terrible, villain will show up with air, lower diamonds, and a ton of hands we're flipping against. Probably slightly +EV, and at worst slightly -EV.

I c/r the flop vs villain twice already this session not long ago and he folded both times.

[/ QUOTE ]

I swear I understand nothing in poker anymore. Or at least how people react towards other peoples aggression.

So we cr him twice, expect him to be fed up with us and ready to get it in light, then go to town on a board where we are most likely flipping, but have lost all fold equity vs 88, and maybe even ax who was 3 betting us light and now calls for pot odds?
