There are very few that are any good, but when they are good they are usually really good.

Ok folks, qualifications :

1. Remix should be better than the original

2. The resulting song should be a great song in its own right (eg. not just better than the original but one of the better songs of the year)

Now nominate.

I actually think this is such a huge topic that it's hard to talk about. What exactly is a remix?

For example :

One of my "favorite" remixes is Mya - Fallen Remix. If you know the Mya song, you know that the original beat comes from The Pharcyde song "Runnin" but the beat for the Mya song is tweaked a little bit. This remix contains a little bit of the original Mya song, the beat from the Mya song and has verses from Slimkid3 and Fatlip of The Pharcyde in it. However, their verses are new and not the same from "Runnin".

This is the song I guess? Not really a fan, but I could believe it's way better than the original.

Yes, that's it. Here's the original:

Listen to them both... now tell me the remix isn't WAY better!

In fact the original has almost ceased to exist, the remix was so successful it has replaced it.
