Re: 25nl Hero Bluffs gets called and we\'re done. Wait we river TP
if this flop desision comes up every time, and you always deny the villain odds to draw to a flush, and never pay him off, then you win. He is losing about $1.15 each time (as he should only be calling around $1.60 due to pot odds), and theoretically you are winning $1.15 each time, regardless of whether you win the pot or not.
However, if you give villain any money if he hits the flush, then he makes up the money he 'lost' on the flop, and you lose. Therefore, fold here = win This theoretical money was named a sklansky buck after David Sklansky discussed it in his book TOP (Theory of Poker) |

Re: 25nl Hero Bluffs gets called and we\'re done. Wait we river TP
I just started back playing online and I'm really trying utilize poketracker more to help with reads. I really see the value more in NL than I did in limit.
This Vil had a 4.33 RAF and that seemed high. I called and he showed A3 off for a missed gutter wheel draw. Poker tracker wins the hand for me. |

This is not a mandatory double barrel. A Queen never folds there and if he does have a flush draw he'll check-fold the river when it misses. If he only has the Queen, value bet his ass on this King river.
This looks too much like a flush or KQ. I fold. |

even bad players rearly call worse hands then KJs from the SB OOP.
I would fold, your behind more then 50% of the time. a small PP not beliving you hit the Q is possible, but a flush is not unlikly. Plus at FTP these guys like to call better kings (KQ/AK) smooth, espacilly when they are either one of the blinds. (Dont know how this is on Stars) |
