I killed him!! but I agree he looked bot-like (not responding in chat, ...) [/ QUOTE ] Not chatting doesn't mean anything. I almost always have my chat turned off and I'd be willing to bet that I'm not a bot. |

Re: Japinthesack on FT
I'm the first one who brought up the possibility of JapInTheSack being a bot in the MHUSH thread. A couple things...
His timing was identical to the other bots...3-4 seconds to make a decision and the same delay when facing a cap preflop. When he'd bust he'd tend to take an inordinately long time to reload. When he or his opponent had ~1bb remaining he wouldn't take the typical approach of "getting it all in" in very obvious spots. Additionally, I'd sweat a friend of mine on more than a couple occasions vs. Jap and we were both shocked to see him take Qhigh and Jhigh to showdown in some seemingly terrible spots. This is discussed more in the MHUSH thread but its much more the type of play you'd expect to see out of a bot than a human. Further, Jap was definitely not using a "bot" 100% of the time and it was obvious when the user would take over. He would often chat and his timing would change dramatically. Individually, many of these things can be explained away but for those of us who play a ton of HU hands daily its very suspicious. ___1___ |
