Re: AA in BB
push looks like a weaker hand so push. MINRERZ here looks super super strong. KKQQ would never do this. i dont think you are getting called either way though

Re: AA in BB
Push for sure. I would strongly consider pushing with deeper stacks (even very deep vs some players) than this as well after an UTG limp-reraise.

Re: AA in BB
I'd push so he doesn't set up and take most of my stack.

I'd push so he doesn't set up and take most of my stack. [/ QUOTE ] That is just silly. I know there are many players that are going to call my all-in with KK and if they hit a set, they hit it. I want the guys stack and to get it, I have to risk my own. |

At the time I didn't fully think through his prior play in laying down the QQ on the turn (with an A on board). I should have crai on the flop, or if he checked the flop, bet something on the turn. I thought for a bit and pushed, which sent him into the tank for about a minute. He then showed KK and folded pre-flop. Three players at the table then said they would have called with that hand. So, I think my answer is: If someone has shown the ability to lay down a big hand, call and crai on the flop (maybe the turn). Otherwise min-reraise, or push pre-flop (which is a seperate question). |

Re: Results
the real answer is:
just vary your play, once you get 20% of your stack in preflop with AA, you can do a lot of things that are still +ev |

I'm guessing many 5-10 players would lay this down pf (maybe I've giving too much credit). I think call, c/r flop would have maximized value. |

Re: Results
I would have put in a small raise preflop.
I think what u want is here a call from someone who will be committed to call the push you are about to make on the flop. I really don't like a call here as some people are suggesting. He's already priced in to call your raise if he isn't 100% sure you have aces. And after he's call, he's almost priced in again if an ace doesn't flop. Don't get cute. Stack him. |
