Re: Playing forever without a downswing? Is it possible?
If you've got a big edge, then you your "bad run" could just mean stagnation with no profits. Your 'good' sessions, just replace the losses from the unuusally frequent 'bad' ones.
If opponents are playing better, and I have seen a lot of improvement, then the old game might not be one way traffic, because they're paying off less and punishing your 2nd best hands more heavily. |

Re: Playing forever without a downswing? Is it possible?
you said you cashed out. according to chens maths book. (MOP)
if you cut the profits from your bankroll you have 100% chance of going broke eventually. be careful with your profits |

Re: Playing forever without a downswing? Is it possible?
short answer: no
long answer: yes, it's theoretically possible to win every hand but it will never happen [ QUOTE ] After 2 years of easy money, has varience just finally caught up with me? [/ QUOTE ] probably just using a common expression but I figure it's a good time to address it anyway. Remember the cards have no memory, so it will never 'catch up to you'. Hence why you will see large swings in either direction... |

Re: Playing forever without a downswing? Is it possible?
Surely it depends on how much you are cashing out, otherwise you wouldnt have pro players if they cant spend the money they make?
