Excellent... I'll buy in directly to the 330, but do you know if there are any satellites for the 540?

So, if I show up an hour early, I should be able to register no problem?

The satellites pay in lammers that are good for any Venetian tournament. Just like the WSOP, they run them in varying sizes to get the top 2 the lammers they need. They run $80 sats to win 300 in lammers and some cash. My guess is there are $120's to pay 500 in lammers.

What was the total prize pool/payouts like when all was said and done?

Do you know offhand if you've been there or if other have what the turnout is normally like for the Thur/Fri noon tournaments when the WSOP isnt going on?

Thanks

Hi all, first post on 2+2 and this was my first casino tourney...and I cashed too! It was pretty exciting fo me and a lot of fun.

I'd agree the tournament staff seemd to break tables at random, and the chip colors could be confusing, but overall the everything seemed to run smoothly.

With the tounramanet starting at 12pm I'd recommend signing up either the day before or no later than 11am. After 11, the line got huge...as noted there were a large number of alternates. I'm glad I wasn't one of them...they had to pay a penalty for entering the tourney late (1 blind for every 15 minutes), as the "on timers" got to play and try to accumulate chips. so show up early enough.

Thanks for the post, congrats on the cash! What place did you take, if you don't mind me asking?

How many players were in the tourney? (I apologize in advance if this info is available elsewhere)

What were the lines like between 10-11am?

Hi GoldenBear,

There were 589 players in the tourney...I limped into the money(as described in my other post). 40 places paid (seems kind of slim to me), but $597 for 31-40. I placed 38th. 1st place was $52k!!

Overall it was an AWESOME experience and most of the players were very freindly / cool. I'd highly reccomend the Venetian's tournaments.
