id probably just call the turn and see if he wants to fire big on the river (obviously calling or raising just about any river). i think you get more value from inducing a river bluff than protecting your hand/trying to get it in. i don't ever see you having the best hand when all the money goes in

precisely. I never 3bet this turn after he checks twice.

is it because my actual hand is weaker than what im representing (slowplayed flush/TT)? if so, this is a topic ive been wondering a bit about lately.

thinking a little about 3betting/not on the turn. If he's the kinda guy to shove a combodraw on turn (pair+As or something, most likely) then I think i'd rather let him, and get our money in with the edge. Remember, our 3-bet here seems a little suspicious too, probably. That, and if he folds the turn, we win a decent pot and he doesnt get a shot at getting there, and I don't think anybody will complain about that.

But if he's more likely to bluff any river after c/r turn, then calling and calling non-spade rivers (barring a boatup) seems like a better plan.

I don't think theres too much difference here between your hand and your presumably stronger 'represented' hand. If he can beat one, he can probably beat the other. And if he's behind you, then he's behind you, but he has outs against anything in that part of your range, except for the nuts. And i'm still sticking to my guns on the "he doesnt have a set" read here, otherwise that might throw a stick in my "QT is pretty much the same as everything else in your range" argument.

I like Josh's line the best and really agree that you probably never the see the best hand here on the turn.
