Plus whenever I used to eat chicken wings or something I would be pretty excited about it only to feel sick afterwards.

[/ QUOTE ]

To be honest, I can't seem to justify eating humans, so why should I discriminate against less intelligent animals and eat them?

[/ QUOTE ]
Coming from someone who's been various forms of vegetarian/humane meat eater throughout his life, IMO this is not a very good reason to be a vegetarian. The killing of animals for consumption shouldn't be morally wrong, since, afterall, you'll always have your predators and your prey. Animals in the wild eat other animals of lesser intelligence as a matter of survival. IMO everyone has their reasons for not eating meat, but to me a more appropriate protest would be of the factory farms and inhumane conditions that have turned the meat industry into such a disgusting one. I highly recommend anyone who is conscious of animal rights and detests the inhumane treatment of animals to visit the site certifiedhumane.com. It's an organization that certifies various family farms based on a wide range of criteria. For me, it's not a matter of eating meat, but if you eat meat in our society, you're usually supporting disgusting, vile living conditions for animals. With certified humane products, you don't have to support the factory farms.

I pretty much have the same reason as you do. I don't want to be eaten. Animals also seem to not want to be eaten. I don't eat them.

I'm sure there are some facebook groups for vegetarians. They might be able to provide some good suggestions for meals, you should check it out.

No, I would be freaking out because he's been dead for like 50 years or whatever.
