^^^ A fair post - as per OP I still feel too much of the decision relies on knowing quite accurately what villain will call and fold here if it was a genuine mistake.

Im fairly certain he calls with 99+ and AJ/AQ hands. But as mentioned in OP, villian has a wide opening range from button. I think he raises almost any ace, certainly any PP and all SC'ers, probably some suted 1 gappers too and any two facecards

You are assuming this is a mislick 100%. It could be a misclick 50% and a fake misclick with AA/KK/QQ 50%. Does he always raise to 22? Was the raise insta? Does he multitable?

preflop misclicks are usually fake

No I am/was not 100% sure it was a missclick. But I assumed it because he always raised to 22 and the raise was an insta raise. Can't remember if he was multitabling though.

Without knowing villains calling range for sure we can't draw firm conclusions. However, I think 67s is exactly the hand to do this with and AJ/AQ would in fact be a worse hand to push with.

Completely disagree. If villain is competent and knows whats up he is calling with enough hands that I'd much rather have AQo. I dunno if Hero is a nit or not, but if villain has any clue and knows Hero is capable of pushing lightish here he will call with a lot worse aces cause of the price he is getting. Villain will be getting a good enough price to call with a large number of hands here, particularly if he suspects heros range include a fair few hands. Don't count on him folding AT/A9/A8/A7 if he has a decent read on hero. He will hate to have to call but will do it.

If Hero has nitty image and/or button is a weak tight nit, I agree.
