My thinking here is that the button is squeezing and SB knows that he is squeezing. So he 4bets (bet size is horrible but w/e.) So since the squeezer is most likely weak and the 4bettor who knows the squeezer is weak is probably weak, I can 5bet push AI profitably. Thoughts?

You're over-thinking the hand at $50NL

[/ QUOTE ]

Way over-thinking. Wow. Every time I talk myself into a play like this even heads up I get shown the goods. This seems really bad.

lol at thinking not 1, but 2 players are reraising light at 50NL. I've played like 10K hands at 50NL getting re-rolled ( ) for SSNL over the last week and I think I've been 3-bet twice (slight exageration)

[/ QUOTE ]

I 3bet light a lot. Also some $50NL tables plays like higher stakes it just depends on who's there.

SB had been putting in absurd 3bets/4bets a decent % of the time if that matters to anyone.

I think that you just want them to be doing this and so decided that they were. Do you have any reads to support this. People at 50NL aren't squeezing and resqueezing.

[/ QUOTE ]

Yeah I wouldn't push without a decent read.

It probably looked like this:

Hero: ""The button is squeezing and SB knows that he is squeezing. So he 4bets (bet size is horrible but w/e.) So since the squeezer is most likely weak and the 4bettor who knows the squeezer is weak is probably weak, I can 5bet push AI profitably"

SB: "OMG K3 sooted they are so pretty omg I feel so lucky today omg"

Button "ACES ACES ACES ACES ACES ACES... "

Your original terminology here shows a mentality [or results oriented thinking afterwards] that gets me (and probably others here) in trouble all the time. A good exercise is to figure out exactly how wide their re-raising range needs to become for this shove to be profitable. Just because it's a squeeze situation doesn't make it any less likely they have the goods than combinations of each hand should show.
