I feel like we should raise the flop to see where we're at and to protect a vunerable board.

Seriously, it's why most of 2p2 is nowhere near as profitable as a beginner would think.

The options on this hand are:

Call/Call/Fold

or

Call/Call/Call

or

Call/Shove

everything else is pretty garbage

0, whats wrong with raising the flop to get it all in vs 54/66/44 which are all very likely holds(55 being the other one). Also, I don't get why people would fold the river.

Because Mr Tag is value betting the [censored] out of us with a set (or anything that obviously beats our 2 pair), that's why.

i'd fold somewhere... a triple donk after getting iso raised on a rag coordinated board vs. an average tag is trouble here

tags will sometimes open limp suited aces, small pocket pairs, and rarely suited connectors

A4s is a problem here, as are 22, 33, and 55

a flopped overpair like 66 or 77 slows down, and premium overpairs limp rr pf and may also slow down

Fold the river. I'm pretty sure hes showing up with a set here. And I miss kicking your ass on stars, I might have to switch back.

he also shows down a lot of stuff that thinks it can fold out an overpair(which is precisely what our hand looks like.).

I really don't think this is the case. Unless he knows we're capable of folding an overpair and won't shove over him on the turn.
