I don't like this entire hand.

PF is marginal at best, I'd try to develop more of a read and more of a stack before opening this. If it was suited then no prob.

Flop is a dangerous board three way, and you have mid-pair. If you're gonna bet, bet more towards the size of the pot, as opposed to your $16 flop bet. I would probably check the flop though.

Turn I would bet more.

River obv. sucks, but your hand has showdown value, so I think a blocking bet of a little more than 1/2 pot looks good, folding to a raise

probably fold on both counts.

i dont see what is calling a blocking bet here. keep in mind that BOTH DRAWS GOT THERE so even if he has a jack he is going to put you on that and fold. theres also a chance a good jack raises the flop which makes his calling range here even smaller. thers also a chance you havent been ahead this entire hand.

if we bet half pot are we really going to fold getting 5-1 vs. an unknown? i think if thats the case then we were better off just c/fing to begin with

I actually see no value in betting $65 since only a hand that beats us is calling (can't see a lone J calling 3 bets on this board);

[/ QUOTE ]

this assumption sucks w/no read. keep in mind he doesn't know us either, he might looks us up light.

[/ QUOTE ]

Looking us up light on this board is donkworthy. Your saying villan is an unknown, but you are giving him donkish attributes. If I don't know a player, I'll err on the side of caution and assume he is not a moron.

Sounds good, I would make it a little smaller. Also fold preflop

I never understand the c/c option here. He's almost never value betting a worst hand, and I wouldn't expect some NL200 unknown to turn a hand like Jx or 99 into a bluff.

I b/f or c/f.

i'm not really giving him donkish attributes, i'm just throwing the possibility out there that he'll look us up light because he doesn't know us. it's just a tough river to play w/no read.

i just feel extremely weak c/f this river.
