haha



anyone remember the old computer game where you had a tank and you had to kill all the other tanks? it was 2d, and between rounds you could buy new weapons and shields and stuff... cant remember the name tho. someone knows what im talking about...

i dont think so...

it had really crappy graphics, and the tanks couldnt move, or could barely move. i cant remember which. You had to measure the angle and power of your shots and try to hit the other guys. It was kinda like the game Worms a little bit.

Scorched Earth sounds like the game you're thinking off, with the option to buy weapons and shields etc between rounds.
There were actually simpler versions that predated that - no special weapons, just wind speed and hills to shoot over; one hit and you win.

To get back on topic, I bet the computer was getting upgraded during the downtime years.
