I almost posted a new "sheep scoring thoughts" but it makes more sense to reuse this one.... had an idea I'm thinking of trying next time I host a sheep:

What about making every question equally important, rather than letting the nearly-unanimous ones completely kill the chances of the few people who miss them?

In particular, I propose giving each person a score of (#people giving your answer)/(#people giving most popular answer). Good or bad idea?

[/ QUOTE ]

I've thought this too. The ones that are unanimous shouldn't be worth as much, because they're too easy.

I've also though about just having 10 pts for 1st, 5 points for 2nd, 2 points for 3rd. Something like that. I really dislike how we currently do sheep

[/ QUOTE ]

I completely concur. Missing one "obvious" question can kill someone's chances for sure!

We do a lot of navel gazing in POG.

It's not a bad thing, but it's kinda weird.

I'm going to go against the majority here. If you miss an obvious answer, shouldn't you be more heavily penalized for it?

I mean, if you get asked about the greatest PG of all time and you put someone other than Steve Nash, you should automatically lose.
