I'd definitely bet close to pot on flop. Turn bet is fine.
Ugh, [censored] spot on river. I'd probably call but it's close. |

Yeah pot the flop, the $10 bet is actually kinda bad. Turn size is nice.

Flop bet size is pretty terrible on that board and I'm not being results oriented. Turn bet size is fine. I think I'd fold river.

I agree with everyone else bet more on flop. your hand is very vulnerable against that type of player. you bet $10 on the flop to cut his odds for a draw an one of the draw comes up on the turn. Now you are facing a possible made straight and a flush draw! check behind on the turn. The fold will be easier on the river if he makes a large bet and a call will be easier if he makes a small bet to try to get paid. He plaid badly (exept if he has KJs...) but got there. to quote Slansky "don't justify his optimistic call".
This said, if you know he is calling very loose then put him all in on the flop while you are sure you are a favorite (even to KJs) and give him the tough decision, your hand is just to vulnerable. The way you played it I would fold and get to live an other day. |
